About This Project
Backlit alabaster sculpture conceived as a form that rises and unfolds from the material.
The alabaster is worked as a liquid stone, giving rise to a volume of almost organic presence that evokes marine formations, as if the piece were growing from an ancient ocean floor.
When unlit, the piece is perceived as a dense, mineral mass; when illuminated, light passes through it, making it feel lighter, almost weightless.
A unique piece, developed within a language that allows the creation of similar works on commission.
