LAND ART PHOTO-SESSION IN THE PYRENEES

Amarist Land Art photo session

15 Mar LAND ART PHOTO-SESSION IN THE PYRENEES

Amarist performs the last photo session of the Metamorphosis Land Art project in the Pyrenees.

The project, created with the collaboration of the Government of Aragón and the  IAAC Pablo Serrano, Museum of Contemporary Art of Aragón, began in 2020 and has continued for the last two years.

With this photoshoot, the studio closes the production phase and will be preparing the official presentation for the upcoming quarter. Metamorphosis will launch as a digital Land Art exhibition first, and its future journey will be communicated soon.

This last and most spectacular photo session took place in the Mediano damp, in the spanish Pyrenees mountain range, where Amarist created an ephemeral show with the newest and largest Aqua Fossil sculpture to date. With the help of a crane, the artists displayed the 3m long and 300kg piece over the beautiful landscape to take mesmerizing videos and pictures during the day, at sunset and at night.

Below are some behind the scenes moments as a preview of the upcoming Metamorphosis exhibition:
