21 Feb GUEST SPEAKERS IN MADRID DESIGN FEST
Amarist was invited to give a conference about their studio and most recent work at the fifth edition of the Madrid Design Festival.
Within the cycle of conferences ‘Design Anatomy Dissection’ of the festival, Arán Lozano and Clara Campo shared the research process and development of the acclaimed Aqua Fossil Series. The duo explained their last couple years of work, from conception, to quarry visits, first models and mock-ups, to final materialization.
The event was the first time that the designers shared publicly the insights and details of their creative process.

Amarist has also been invited as guest speakers at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Clara gave a zoom class about Design and Materiality to the freshmen class of the College of Architecture. The talk emphasized on Alabaster Stone, the process of design and the professional practice of a studio with great engagement from all the students.
