Fossil Abyss

Fossil Abyss is a sculptural mirror in alabaster and grey mirrored glass, with integrated lighting. Inspired by shells, reefs and calcified marine structures, its organic form explores the relationship between stone and living matter.

The alabaster is carved into soft folds that recall the remains of a marine organism preserved in stone. Light passes through the translucent material, revealing its natural veins and the depth of the carved surface. The surrounding mirror draws the room into the composition, framing the illuminated stone.

Both sculpture and a source of ambient light, Fossil Abyss brings a quiet, intimate presence to a space.
