About This Project

Fossil Moon brings together carved alabaster and mirror within a circular form. The stone’s natural veins and eroded textures suggest a lunar landscape, imagining water and life preserved in fossil form.

Carved, sanded and polished by hand, the alabaster meets the smooth surface of the mirror. The stone holds the traces of time, while the reflection changes with the light, the surrounding space and the viewer.
