Side table sculpture
Amarist has worked the surface of the table to petrify the natural movement of water, showing it as a fossil. The work of the artists carving the stone as a plastic, moldable material, reveals one of the main elements of the molecular composition of Alabaster, water.
In this way, the new Aqua Fossil Table describes fluid organic compositions that present the Alabaster Stone as a liquid element. The block of stone has been manually selected by the artists at the quarry.
