Aqua Fossil Seats couple
In the seats we used a very rare variety of Alabaster, a mixture of Alabaster springs mixed with other mineral compositions, which results in a unique and harder stone than white Alabaster. We discovered this variety of stone thanks to the visits we made to the quarry. These are mineral springs that occur in a strata different from those of white alabaster. This stone is often discarded because is harder and is not the main business of the companies exploiting the mines. During our manual process of searching for unique Alabaster blocks in the quarry, we found and selected on of these blocks. In the case of our first seats the two pieces emerge from a single block of this rare variety of Alabaster, generating a positive and negative of each other from the cut of the block.
