Ha sido un honor ser invitados a participar en la primera cumbre de Mujeres Forbes under 30.

Compartir esta semana con brillantes líderes de todo el mundo ha sido una experiencia verdaderamente inspiradora y enriquecedora. Todo en una aventura sensorial y espiritual sin igual en Israel. Gracias Forbes por organizar una cumbre tan increíble.

Fuimos testigos y creemos que todos tenemos un enorme poder para sacudir y dar forma al futuro para ayudar a la próxima generación a tener un futuro más igualitario. Apoyar las aspiraciones de las mujeres líderes y romper las barreras sistémicas es fundamental para lograr una mayor vitalidad económica en todo el mundo, e impulsar una mayor prosperidad no sólo para las mujeres, sino para todos.

A continuación mostramos algunos de los aspectos más destacados de la semana:

El primer día de la cumbre estuvo orientado a un ciclo de conferencias y entrevistas por parte de las homenajeadas de Forbes menores de 30 años, pasadas ​​y presentes, más hombres y mujeres invitados. Los temas discutidos fueron alrededor del emprendimiento femenino, levantamiento de capital, innovación, autenticidad, propósito e inspiración. Las citas a continuación son un resumen de la jornada:

1. “No se trata de construir un testimonio físico para ti mismo y tus logros, se trata de lo que consigues hacer para las demás personas.” – Lynn Schusterman

2. “La era del ‘Crecimiento a toda costa’ ha llegado a su fin. Esta generación está enfocada en hacer negocios con impacto (social, ambiental, etc.)” – Addie Lerner

3. “Hay una larga historia de personas que escriben su verdad en la justicia” – Amanda Nguyen (esto de ninguna manera hace justicia al increíble mensaje de Amanda).

4. El propósito impulsa las ganancias en una empresa, y no al revés. –Brani Leifso

5. La paz es algo que la gente debe poseer, no los políticos. – Daniel Birnbaum

6. Poséelo, o cambialo –Iskra Lawrence en Autenticidad

7. No subestimes el poder de la Dignidad. – Tenzin Seldon (otro punto culminante del evento)

Forbes también nos dio una oportunidad para marcar la diferencia. En la histórica ciudad de Jerusalén, las mujeres ayudan a dirigir una amplia gama de nuevas empresas y ONG que intentan aprovechar el capital y las ideas para lograr un impacto positivo en la ciudad. Las participantes en la cumbre nos dividimos en grupos y, a través de una metodología única de “asiento caliente”, cada participante compartió su experiencia y contribuyó al desafío presentado por estas nuevas empresas y ONG, brindando nuevas perspectivas y nuevas ideas para la entidad.

Luego volvimos a reunirnos y cada grupo presentó una solución al problema que se les había presentado. Fue una hermosa experiencia, energizante y edificante!


También tuvimos la oportunidad de reunirnos con el CEO de SodaStream, Daniel Birnbaum, y aprender sobre la primera compañía que emplea a judíos, musulmanes y cristianos en igualdad de remuneración e igualdad de oportunidades, trabajando mano a mano. Liderando con el ejemplo en la misión de reunir a las diferentes culturas de la región y trabajar por la paz.

 

La Cumbre de Forbes empezó con la ceremonia de inicio de la Bolsa de Valores de Tel-Aviv.

 

El último día tuvimos la oportunidad de dar y dejar nuestra ciudad anfitriona un poco mejor de lo que la encontramos. Pasamos el día con los niños de una escuela de riesgo y renovamos su gimnasio.

 

Uno de los aspectos más destacados del evento fue el hermoso concierto para la coexistencia en la Torre de David en Jerusalén. Una experiencia sensorial inolvidable con deliciosas comidas y bebidas locales, música y un desfile de moda de Mishal Hidas, homenajeada por los premios Forbes Under 30, y todo compartido con varias de las mentes más brillantes de nuestra generación.

It has been an honor to be invited to the first-ever Forbes Under 30 Women‘s Summit.

Sharing this week with all these brilliant female leaders from all over the world has been a truly inspiring and enriching experience. All in an unparalleled sensory and spiritual adventure in Israel. Thank you Forbes for organizing such an incredible Summit.

We witnessed and we believe that we all have an enormous power to make a change, shake and shape the future for the next generation. Supporting the aspirations of female leaders and breaking down systemic barriers is critical to achieving greater economic vitality around the world and driving greater prosperity not just for women, but for everyone.

Below are some of the highlights of the week:

The first day of the Summit was oriented to a cycle of panel talks by Forbes Under 30 honorees, past and present, and additional invited men and women. The topics discussed were around female entrepreneurship, raising capital, innovation, authenticity, purpose and inspiration. The quotes below are a great summary by Arijana Koskarova on the topics discussed:

1. It’s not about building a physical testament to yourself and your achievements, it’s about what you do for people. – Lynn Schusterman

2. The “Growth at All Costs”era has come and gone. This generation is focused on doing business with Impact (social, environmental, etc) – Addie Lerner

3. “There is a long history of people penning their truth into justice” – Amanda Nguyen ( this in no way does justice to Amanda’s incredible message.)

4. Purpose drives profit not the other way around. –Brani Leifso

5. Peace is something the people should own, not the politicians. – Daniel Birnbaum

6. Own it,  or change it –Iskra Lawrence on Authenticity

7. Don’t underestimate the power of Dignity. – Tenzin Seldon (another highlight of the event)

Forbes also gave us a chance at the Summit to make a difference. In the incredibly historic city of Jerusalem, women help lead a diverse array of startups and NGOs trying to harness capital and ideas to make a huge impact. We split up into groups and through a unique “hot seat” methodology, each participant shared her experience and contribute her take on the challenge presented by these startups and NGOs, providing the entity fresh perspectives and new ideas.

Then we reconvened and each group pitched a solution to the problem they’ve been presented. Was a beautiful experience, energizing and uplifting!


We also had the chance to meet with SodaStream’s CEO Daniel Birnbaum and learn about the first company employing jews, muslims and christians on equal pay and equal benefits, working hand by hand. Leading by example on the mission to bring the different cultures of the region together and working for Peace.

The Summit kicked-off with a the Bell Ceremony at Tel-Aviv’s Stock Exchange.

 

On the last day, we had the chance to Give Back and leave our host city a little better than we found it. We spent the day mentoring kids at a youth risk school and helped renovating their gym.

 

One of the highlights of the event was the beautiful concert for co-existence at the Tower of David in Jerusalem. An unforgettable sensorial experience with delicious local food and drinks, music, and a fashion show by Under 30 honoree Mishal Hidas, all surrounded by a bunch of the brightest minds of our generation.
